The first media forum of Central Asian countries has started in Kazakhstan


The first Central Asian Media Forum is being held on December 20-21 in Astana, Kazinform reports. The purpose of the event is to promote the creation of a unified media space in Central Asia.
For the first time in the region, the issues of measuring regional identity, the development of new media, artificial intelligence technology will be discussed. Experts will share their observations and exchange experience in this area.
Special attention will also be paid to countering fake news, opportunities for regional and global cooperation to ensure information security, issues of media literacy and the role of women in the media.
The event is attended by over 100 invited speakers, including Pulitzer Prize winners, politicians, journalists, influencers and other media experts.
