TechWomen is a five–week exchange program for professionals that supports the advancement of the status of women and girls around the world, as well as helps them develop in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The program provides an opportunity to travel to the United States for an intensive exchange of experience with representatives from North Africa, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, South and Central Asia.
The program begins in Silicon Valley in California with a series of seminars on leadership skills, innovation and creative thinking. Then, within 15 days, the participants will undergo an individual mentoring program at leading innovative companies and organizations in Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay. After that, they will join other participants from their country for a group task.
TechWomen ends with a three-day program in Washington, including a visit to the Department of State, where participants will meet with representatives of the Department.
