The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the Head of Kazakhstan on Independence Day
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan will steadily develop for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries, noting that the relations between the states are of a long-term and strategic nature.
The head of state stated this in a congratulatory message to his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and all the people of Kazakhstan, who are celebrating the 31st anniversary of their independence these days, TDH reports.
Chairman of the upper chamber of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov called the bilateral relations between the countries dynamically developing, wishing peace, further progress and prosperity to the head of the republic and the people of Kazakhstan in his message.
An example of the fruitful and respectful nature of Turkmen-Kazakh relations is the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan in October this year, during which important agreements were reached in the field of economy, transport and logistics.
