The triumph of young Turkmen football players in Astrakhan
At the Caspian Cup International Football Tournament U-12 (under age of 12) held in Astrakhan, there were a serious struggle during four days between seven teams, including FC Nefitçi (Azerbaijan), FC Wolgar (Russian Federation), FC Lotos (Republic of Kalmykia, Russia), FC Aşgabat (Turkmenistan), FC Kurmangazy (Kazakhstan), the National team of the Republic of Kazakhstan and FC Astrakhan (Russia). According to the tournament regulations, each of the participating teams had to hold six meetings. Youth team from Ashgabat had the best result, having won four matches and end two games in a draw. Young football players from Turkmenistan received the Cup and gold medals. It is worthy to mention that our youth team pleased with this rewarding on the eve of the International Exhibition of Caspian Innovative Technologies and the International motor review “Türkmen sährasy-2019”, held as part of the 1st Caspian Economic Forum.
