Turkish Airlines canceled PCR tests on flights to Turkmenistan

Turkish Airlines has canceled the requirement to present certificates with the results of PCR tests for COVID-19 for citizens of Turkmenistan on flights to Ashgabat and Turkmenbashi, the airline told ORIENT.
Now Turkmen citizens will take the test only upon arrival in the country. Similar requirements were previously cancelled by Belavia and S7. Turkmenistan airlines also no longer require a certificate with the results of PCR tests from citizens of Turkmenistan returning to the country from Russia.
For all foreign citizens traveling to Turkmenistan by planes of any airlines, it is mandatory to have a certificate of the results of a PCR test made no more than 48 hours before departure.
Turkish Airlines operates Istanbul – Ashgabat flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and in the opposite direction — on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline operates flights on the Istanbul – Turkmenbashi – Istanbul route every Monday and Friday.
