Bidding on SCRMET: TC-1 jet fuel was in high demand


TC-1 aviation kerosene was in high demand at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan on December 13 and 14, ORIENT correspondent reports.
On Tuesday, businessmen from Malta, the United Arab Emirates, the Virgin Islands and Afghanistan purchased a total of 24.1 thousand tons of products. The cost of fuel was estimated at $810.50 per ton. The total amount of transactions on this day was $19.5 million.
The cost of TC-1 aviation kerosene on Wednesday increased by 5.3% and amounted to $873.75 per ton. It was purchased by representatives of Turkey and Uzbekistan. 6 thousand tons of products cost customers $5.1 million.
Also on this day, businessmen from Turkey purchased 264 thousand kg of cotton yarn for $ 712.8.
In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 5 thousand tons of calcined petroleum coke for 70.5 million TMT. One Turkmen businessman also signed a contract for the purchase of 15 thousand pieces of P4D 2 plastic pallets.
