A snow town has opened in the Chinese province of Heilongjiang

The official opening of the tourist zone called "China's Snow Town" took place in Mudanjiang, in Heilongjiang Province, according to Chinese media. A heavy snowfall has recently taken place in the province and the thickness of the snow cover reaches 40 cm. Snowdrifts on the roofs of houses in the town resemble snow mushrooms, and the eaves of roofs and streets are decorated with more than 3000 red lanterns that stand out vividly against a snow-white background. At night, the lanterns are lit and create a fabulous winter atmosphere.

Tourists from all over the country come to the town to enjoy these beautiful landscapes and take a few photos for memory.
