Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Turkey summit

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, along with First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, arrived in Turkmenistan on an official visit to participate in a trilateral summit with his colleagues from Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Turkey Rejep Tayyip Erdogan, the official website of the head of the republic reports.

The summit is intended to give a new impetus to cooperation between the three states, in particular in the field of transport and energy.

Azerbaijan already has a wide infrastructure to ensure the access of Turkmen hydrocarbon resources to the European energy market, as well as the necessary agreements with Turkey, with which the country is implementing the Trans-Eurasian Superinformation Highway project.
