Japanese akita in the Kremlin has a friend - a Turkmen alabai
Putin's domestic dog in the Kremlin now has a new friend - a Turkmen alabai Vepaly (Faithful). It was a birthday by his Turkmen counterpart Berdimuhamedov, who came to the CIS summit in Sochi.
The Turkmen leader congratulated the Russian leader and wished him good health, success, and all the best in life.
After that, a puppy was brought to the hall where Putin and Berdymukhamedov met. The Turkmen president, having taken a small Alabai, handed it over to its new owner.
The Turkmen puppy Vepaly became a symbol of loyalty in the Turkmen-Russian friendship.
The Japanese dog Yume of the Akita breed was presented to Vladimir Putin in December 2012 by the head of the Japanese prefecture Akita, Norihisa Satake, as a token of gratitude for helping to eliminate the consequences of the powerful earthquake and tsunami.
