Meetings of the heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, energy and transport departments of Turkmenistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan were held in the Avaza tourist zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea on the eve of the first trilateral summit. The participants of the negotiations told about this on social networks.
"Effective steps will be taken at the upcoming summit that will affect the life of the region in the fields of energy, economy, communications, trade, customs and other areas," stated Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, speaking at a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the three countries.
Later, the meeting of the Turkish Foreign Minister with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov took place in Avaza. During the negotiations, the parties discussed further steps in the development of cooperation between the countries in the field of transport, energy and the military-industrial complex.
"We are developing our cooperation in the field of transport and logistics and further strengthening our ties," Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismayiloglu wrote on Twitter, following a meeting with Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakiyev and Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev.
