A forum of public organizations was held in Ashgabat
The Forum of public Organizations of Turkmenistan has once again become a platform for dialogue between representatives of civil society, business circles and government authorities - among the participants were experts from the Mejlis, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice, the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports and the City Hall.
The meeting was held on Friday in Ashgabat. Public organizations working in the field of ecology, promotion of the interests of women, children and youth, development of entrepreneurship, provision of social and consulting services and other relevant areas shared their experience and best practices at the forum.
The participants of the conference told how they use the accumulated potential in the intellectual, personnel and information spheres. In particular, they invited representatives of government agencies to focus on creating a modern mechanism of partnership with civil society institutions. To develop flexible options and fruitful ways of developing social partnership to increase mutual trust.
The forum also addressed such topical topics as the role of women in the modern digital space, work with young people to strengthen family values, women's rights and opportunities in entrepreneurship, employment, etc. It was noted that the role of public organizations in these processes is undeniable.
The forum was organized by the NGO "Yenme" with the support of the project "Assistance to the improvement of public Administration" in Turkmenistan (Governance Support Program, GSP) The United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
