Bidding on SCRMET: deals worth about $18 million have been made


On Thursday, December 8, 16 deals totaling $17.9 million and 1.5 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 17.9 thousand tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene during the auction, offering $774.50 for each ton of products. The total amount of transactions amounted to $13.8 million.
Representatives of Afghanistan also purchased 4 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for $3.4 million. They estimated the cost of production at $872.50 per ton.
Another entrepreneur from Afghanistan purchased 10 thousand tons of PS 500-G0-K Portland cement for $400 thousand.
Businessmen from Turkey bought 88 thousand kg of cotton yarn for $145.2 thousand and 1.5 million TMT.
