The British consulting company GaffneyCline is considering the possibility of expanding further work in the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan, Trend writes with reference to the company's project director Drew Powell.

The speaker said that GaffneyCline is currently discussing issues related to the development of cooperation with the state concern Turkmengaz and Turkmenneft.

"Plans to work with the State Concern Turkmengaz are still under development, and currently this work is confidential. As for the State Concern Turkmenneft, we can inform you that we will continue to provide the company with further consulting support," Powell said.

He also added that during the International Conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022" (OGT-2022) the company had a good opportunity to meet with many Turkmen companies and establish cooperation with them.

Earlier, GaffneyCline successfully cooperated with Turkmenistan in assessing the reserves of the Galkynysh deposit, confirming that according to the international classification it is "supergiant".
