Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey to deepen cooperation in the field of energy

Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey plan to sign five agreements to develop cooperation, Trend reports following a joint press conference of the heads of the Turkmen and Turkish MFAs in Ankara.
The Turkish Foreign Minister said that the countries intend to take steps to develop cooperation in the energy sector, in connection with which a meeting of companies of the three states working in this field is expected in the near future.
Energy cooperation between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey has great prospects: Turkey wants to become an oil and gas hub of Europe against the background of the global energy crisis, and Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have a huge hydrocarbon potential for diversifying energy supplies to the world market.
