Creative and scientific intelligentsia of the CIS countries will gather in Tashkent


The XV Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States will be held on December 12-14 in Tashkent. The congress is held with the support of the Interstate Council and the Commonwealth Humanitarian Cooperation Fund and is traditionally held every year in the capitals of the CIS states, the Uzbek media report.
The first forum was held in 2006 and since then has become a central platform for dialogue between prominent figures of the scientific and creative elite, representatives of interstate bodies of the CIS, relevant departments of the Commonwealth countries.
The topic of the Uzbek meeting is "Humanitarian cooperation - the experience of thirty years and development prospects." A number of cultural events will also take place here - a unique exhibition "Faces of the Commonwealth", the ceremony of presenting the Interstate Prize "Stars of the Commonwealth" and the International Prize "Commonwealth of Debuts".
Forum delegates will take part in panel discussions on the topic "Cultural heritage of the Commonwealth countries", "Scientific and educational community of the CIS countries", "The latest cultural code of the CIS: vectors for the development of cooperation", "Literature of the Commonwealth countries - new mechanisms of integration", "Cooperation of the youth of the Commonwealth countries”, etc.
Within the framework of the Tashkent forum, a joint meeting of the Council for Humanitarian Cooperation will also be held, and following the results of the meeting, a final resolution will be adopted.
And of course, there will be a traditional concert of the CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra, which will also include Turkmen musicians.
