Young tennis player from Turkmenistan wins international tournament in Turkey

Young tennis player Sulgun Ishangulyeva from Turkmenistan won the international tennis tournament for children under 10 years old held in Izmir, Turkey, the official Turkmen press reports today.

On the way to victory, Sulgun was able to overcome rivals from different cities of Turkey. In the first meeting, she defeated Ipek Gyurses with a score of 4:0 4:1, in the second-over Baday Guner with a score of 4: 1 4: 0.

Having been stronger than Deniz Baysal in the third meeting, in the final 9-year-old athlete Syrgala with Sahra Nahir Temiz, who won with a score of 4: 2, 4: 1.

Sulgun Ishangulyeva is the ward of the champion of Turkmenistan Yuri Rogussky.
