Niclaus is ready to build the best golf club in Central Asia and the Middle East in Avaza
Plans for the construction of three golf courses in Avaza were discussed at a meeting held during the Turkmen-American Business Forum in Ashgabat on Monday.
Niclaus was represented by CEO John Reese as part of the American business mission. He showed in the photo how beautiful golf courses on the shores of the Caspian Sea can look like, which can be created within 2-3 years.
According to him, it can become the best golf club in Central Asia and the Middle East, which will attract players from Asia and Europe and help Avaza gain international fame. The entire project can be completed by the summer season of 2025.
As a result of this meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of John Reese and Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Dovran Khudaiberdiyev on the creation of a golf club in Avaza.
Nicklaus Companies is a conglomerate of golf—related companies owned by golfer Jack Nicklaus and his family. Previously, the company was called Golden Bear, nicknamed Niklaus. He manages Nicklaus-Flick Golf Training and practice centers, licenses Jack Nicklaus brand golf clothing and accessories, and advises a golf course construction firm.
