National features of tourism in Turkey

Summer is a traditional time for mass vacations. And of course, this time should be spent so that “there is no pity for the days spent aimlessly”, and, if possible, with savings without spending unnecessary financial resources. In other words, cheap and with impressions. And where to go to tourists from Turkmenistan who do not know a foreign language?
ORIENT correspondent went to test Istanbul as a tourist destination. Well, first of all, it is very beautiful, and there are unique architectural structures have been preserved in its historical part, familiarity with which is a real journey through time.
Particularly story connect the two fraternal nations - the Turkmen and Turkish, who shared common ancestor, founder - Oguzkhan. In other words, our two nations have the same ethnic origins. In a large family of Turko-speaking peoples who have managed to preserve their distinctive cultural traditions to this day, there is also a gross sibling connection, which is best manifested in direct human contacts.
To communicate with the Turks at the beginning is rather difficult. But after a few hours of being in their linguistic environment, you begin to get attached to their speech peculiarities, after which you understand everything they say.
And as soon as these, on the one hand, crafty traders, and on the other hand, good-natured people hear that you are from Turkmenistan, they immediately make a discount, calling you “kardesh”.
I don’t know exactly what content is put into this word in Turkish, but in Turkmen it means “colleague, fellow worker”. I don’t think that in Turkish it is far from our understanding of this word. Most likely, something close and no less charitable.
Turks perceive Turkmens as ethnic brothers, and therefore, if they are sellers, they will definitely give you a discount. And this is perceived as the norm. But the main thing, of course, is not that! Turkey is a country where two parts of a huge continent meet - Asia and Europe. Representatives of very many nations and nationalities live here. Here, in a relatively small space, the values of the spiritual and material culture of Byzantine, Christian, Muslim and other cultures are concentrated and conflict-free.
Do you still think where to go to relax this year?
