The international festival of national song and music art has started in Ashgabat
The international festival "National song and music art in the heritage of the peoples of the world" has opened in Turkmenistan. Representatives of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Tatarstan, Kazakhstan, Iran, etc. arrived in the country to participate in it.
The program of the festival, which will last until November 30, includes performances by singers, musicians and dance groups, master classes and creative meetings with prominent artists from different countries.
In his address to the participants of the festival, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the special role of art, which can act as a bridge of friendship with various countries of the world.
"We are creating all conditions for the popularization of cultural heritage in the world, the disclosure of talents and self—improvement of creative figures," the message of the Turkmen leader says.
