A state competition for knowledge of foreign languages will be held in Turkmenistan


The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan will hold a competition for knowledge of foreign languages among students of short-term courses of educational centers of the country, regardless of their form of ownership.
The order of the competition, approved by the order of the Minister of Education Gurbangul Atayeva, was published on Tuesday on the portal of legal information of the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan.
The competition is aimed at improving the knowledge of foreign languages, identifying the most capable among the listeners, as well as improving the level of teaching foreign languages in Turkmenistan.
According to the Order of the competition, students of three age categories can take part in the competition — from 12 and 13 years, from 14 and 15 years, as well as 16 years and older.
Having demonstrated the level of knowledge among the students of their training center, the participants will continue to "fight" at the regional level. The most distinguished will have the opportunity to take a test of foreign language proficiency at the national stage of the competition, where they will meet with rivals from all over Turkmenistan.
The winners will be determined both in individual and team competitions.
