Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the head of KITA discussed Turkmen-Korean transport cooperation
Chairman of the upper house of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov discussed the development of transport cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea with President of the Korean International Trade Association (KITA) Christopher Lu, who stated the attractiveness of transit corridors of Turkmenistan.
As TDH reports, following the results of bilateral negotiations within the framework of the official visit of the head of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh to the Republic of Korea, the parties touched upon the issues of effective use of transport and transit corridors of the two countries, as well as the exploitation of the existing infrastructure.
In particular, we are talking about the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi, which has great prospects for the transportation of South Korean products to European countries.
During the negotiations, the possibility of using significant highways and railways of Turkmenistan was also emphasized.
