The President of Azerbaijan discussed priorities of cooperation with the delegation of Turkmenistan
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Trade Batyr Atdayev on Tuesday, the official website of the head of the republic reports.
The delegation arrived in Baku to participate in the meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission on cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres.
At the meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, issues of developing cooperation between the countries in energy, transport, logistics were discussed. The increase in trade turnover was noted and the importance of implementing new joint projects that will contribute to the further expansion of trade cooperation was emphasized.
Also among the topics covered are cooperation in shipbuilding, ship repair, as well as other industries.
