Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov discussed cooperation in the fuel and energy sector with the President of the Republic of Korea
Chairman of the upper house of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a visit to Seoul, discussed issues of Turkmen-Korean cooperation in the energy sector with President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol.
The parties expressed interest in strengthening cooperation in the energy sector and joint implementation of infrastructure projects, according to a press release from the Office of the Head of the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting, it was stressed that Turkmenistan, which has enormous natural resources, and the Republic of Korea, which has advanced technologies, perfectly complement each other's capabilities in various fields.
The head of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed hope that Korean companies will continue to further expand their participation in major energy and infrastructure projects of the country.
Following the meeting, the Chairman of the upper chamber of the Turkmen Parliament handed the head of the Republic of Korea a letter from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with an invitation to visit Turkmenistan.
