The corresponding article under the number 3491 is included in the Code of Turkmenistan on Administrative Offenses and comes into force today, from the date of publication of new amendments to the legislation in the official press.

The fine can range from 4 to 8 rates of the base value with the confiscation of pyrotechnics and items for its manufacture. Administrative arrest for an offense may be imposed for up to 10 days.

For repeated commission of an offense during the year, a fine of 6 to 10 rates of base value is provided, or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.

If the offense was committed by a teenager under 16 years of age, then a fine in the amount of 2 to 5 rates of the base value is imposed on his parents or guardians.

The note to the article also states that persons who voluntarily surrendered improvised explosives and pyrotechnics are exempt from liability for the offense.

The size of the base value for fines at the time of publication of the news in Turkmenistan is 100 manats.
