Private notaries of Turkmenistan have been given the opportunity to create their own association

Private notaries of Turkmenistan now have the right to create an association of notaries to protect the rights and legitimate interests of their members, as well as to promote the development of notary activities in the country.
This follows from the new Law of Turkmenistan "On Notaries and notarial activities", which was approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and published today in the official Turkmen press.
According to the new law, the Association of notaries is a professional association, activities of which are not commercial and are based on mandatory membership. The sources of financing of the Association will be entrance and membership fees, the amounts of which are approved by the Conference of Notaries of Turkmenistan.
The Association itself is created on the basis of a decision of the Conference of Notaries of the country and is subject to registration at the Ministry of Justice, and after being included in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, it acquires full legal capacity.
