The parliaments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea will sign a memorandum of cooperation
The upper house of the Turkmen parliament will sign a memorandum of cooperation with the South Korean parliament during the official visit of Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Korea, TDH reports.
During a conversation with the Korean Ambassador to Turkmenistan Shin Sung-chul before leaving on an official visit to Seoul, the head of the upper house of the Turkmen parliament expressed confidence that the agreements reached would open up broad prospects for the development of strategic partnership in all areas.
The sides stressed the importance of the Turkmen-Korean inter-parliamentary ties due to the experience of cooperation gained over the past years and the availability of broad opportunities for the implementation of a number of mutually beneficial projects.
It was noted that the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh will hold meetings with the President of the Republic of Korea, the Speaker of the National Assembly and other officials of the country as part of the program of the visit to Seoul.
