Bidding on SCRMET: LNG and diesel fuel were sold for export


On Thursday, November 24, 28 deals totaling $16.9 million and 3 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased a total of 7950 tons of liquefied natural gas, offering $475 for each ton. The total amount of all LNG transactions madeamounted to 3.7 million.
Entrepreneurs from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 14.9 thousand tons of diesel fuel of the L-0.2-62 brand. In one part of the transactions, the amount of diesel fuel was $886 per ton, and in the other — $865 per ton due to an additional discount. The total amount of transactions amounted to $12.8 million.
During the auction, representatives of Turkey made deals for the supply of over 100 thousand kg of various types of cotton yarn for $235.4 thousand, as well as 32.4 thousand kg of cotton yarn for 1.9 million TMT.
In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 1 thousand tons of petroleum road bitumen for 2 million TMT.
