Azerbaijan has allocated a separate section for Turkmen cargo in the port of Alayat

A separate section has been allocated in the Alayat seaport in Azerbaijan for Turkmen cargo, President of the Republic Ilham Aliyev said, speaking at the conference "Along the Middle Corridor: Geopolitics, Security and Economics" at ADA University, azertag.az reports.
"Today Azerbaijan provides significant opportunities for the transit of goods from Turkmenistan, and in the seaport of Alayat we have allocated a separate section for goods from Turkmenistan," the head of state said.
Aliyev also noted that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan has a long history, and the hydrocarbon transportation routes that are already operating in the Caspian region are able to make the coastal countries more integrated.
