Avaza is ready to host a forum on the development of international tourism in 2023
The Government of Turkmenistan plans to invite representatives and specialists of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to Avaza and organize a Forum on the development of international tourism in the resort area in the second quarter of 2023.
The proposal was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov during a meeting in Avaza, which was held by Chairman of the upper house of the Turkmen parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.
The forum will be organized to strengthen cooperation with foreign partners and expand contacts with leading specialized structures.
Stressing the importance of consultations with organizations and foreign partners, the Foreign Minister noted the urgency of increasing and systematically increasing ecological, natural and medical tourism in the country.
