Masterpieces of Turkmen poets have been included in the collection of books named "Pearls of Turkic literature"
The famous works of Turkmen poets have been included in the 100-volume collection of books "Pearls of Turkic Literature", which consists of selected poems by classics of the Turkic world, the official website of the Organization of Turkic States reports.
A series of books, huge in size and cultural significance, on which more than 200 translators, 100 literary critics, writers, editors, artists and scientists worked, was created by the Writers' Union and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.
The 100-volume series, which absorbed the immortal lines of 629 poets and thinkers of Turkic origin of the XI-XXI centuries, was published in a 200-thousandth edition in Tashkent.
The order to publish this collection was announced back in 2019 during the VII Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States.
The presentation of the books, which was attended by representatives of the diplomatic missions of the Turkic states, was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
