The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan exceeded $614 million
In ten months of 2022, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan exceeded $614.1 million, according to a report published by the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan imported Turkmen products worth over $443.5 million, and exported $170.6 million. The positive balance of Turkmenistan's foreign trade with Uzbekistan amounted to $272.9 million.
The foreign trade turnover between the countries in January-October decreased by 9.8% compared to last year. For the whole of 2021, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan amounted to 881.9 million dollars.
Turkmenistan is one of the ten largest trading partners of Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan traded with China the most this year.
