Trading on SCRMET: jet fuel, diesel fuel and polypropylene were in demand
On Wednesday, November 23, 9 deals totaling $4.3 million and 4.4 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
A businessman from the United Arab Emirates purchased 2 thousand tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene for a total of $1.9 million, offering $971 for each ton of oil product.
An entrepreneur from Afghanistan signed a contract for the supply of 1.6 thousand tons of diesel fuel of the L-0.2-62 brand for a total of $1.3 million. The cost of diesel fuel was estimated at $867.25 per ton.
Representatives of the Afghan business community also purchased 700 tons of TPP D382BF polypropylene in the amount of $889000 during the auction, offering $1270 for each ton of products.
A businessman from Kyrgyzstan purchased 23 thousand kg of smooth-dyed and jacquard terry products for $126.5 thousand during the auction.
For the national currency, entrepreneurs from Turkey purchased a total of 117 thousand tons of cotton yarn for 4.4 million TMT.
