Turkmenistan will once again consider the issue of increasing salaries and other payments by 10%


Chairman of the upper chamber of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the need to once again consider the issue of increasing wages and other payments by 10% in accordance with the decree of the President of Turkmenistan.
This is reported by TDH following a meeting of the upper house of the National Assembly (Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh) of Turkmenistan. "Is a 10% increase in wages and other benefits enough; is it enough for a decent life for the people?" the state news agency quotes the head of the upper house of parliament at a meeting.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the availability of all opportunities to take care of people and the sufficiency of funds for this, thanks to the economic power of the country.
Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty said that when considering the issue of increasing wages, first of all, it is necessary to proceed from the Program of socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028, according to which in 2023 the average monthly salary is planned to increase to 2506.3 manats.
