Turkmenistan and Montenegro discussed the possibilities of economic cooperation
Turkmenistan and Montenegro have opportunities to build a bilateral partnership in the trade and economic sphere, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Batyr Niyazaliyev and Ambassador of Montenegro to Russia Milorad Shchepanovich stressed during the meeting in Moscow.
During the talks, the sides also touched upon the need to intensify cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere and agreed to continue bilateral contacts, the official website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia reports.
Montenegro, which has one of the highest rates of economic growth in Europe, is a small multinational and multi-confessional Slavic country. It also traditionally has close ties with the Turkic world, which makes Montenegro close in spirit and history to Turkmenistan.
