Laureates of the presidential contest for the best creative work are named
In Ashgabat the prizes were awarded to winners of the creative contest for the award of the President of Turkmenistan. Massive gold chains and cash prizes were awarded to over 120 laureates of the contest on behalf of President Berdimuhamedov. This year the competition was held in 13 nominations including awards for the best: poems; newspaper and magazine materials; literary works and translations; television and radio programs; carpets and koshmas; works of fine and arts and crafts, photographic works, etc. The awards ceremony took place in the Palace of Mukams. Among the winners of the contest are creative groups, including children's ones, as well as musicians, vocalists, poets, journalists, artists, teachers and university students, school teachers, entrepreneurs, military men, etc. According to the decree of the Head of State, honorary titles were awarded to 13 prominent cultural figures, masters of art and creative professionals. Among the awarded high rank are famous artists, musicians, journalists, employees of cultural and educational institutions, teachers, etc. Two of them, for many years of work and great services to the state and people, were awarded the honorary title "People's Artist of Turkmenistan" posthumously.
