Participants of the Moscow format of consultations on Afghanistan called for the complete unfreezing of the country's blocked foreign assets and the adoption of measures to unblock the retained national reserves of Afghanistan.

This is stated in an official joint statement published by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The sides noted the importance of post-conflict reconstruction of Afghanistan for the well-being and prosperity of ordinary Afghans without interference in the internal affairs of the country.

Turkmenistan, Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan became participants of the Moscow format.
