The heads of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan congratulated the peoples of the two countries on the opening of the Friendship Festival
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples on the occasion of the Friendship Festival in Dashoguz. The texts of congratulations were published today by the TDH news agency.
The heads of neighboring states wished good health, happiness, well-being and prosperity to all participants of the festival, as well as to the two friendly peoples. The President of Uzbekistan thanked the Turkmen leader for organizing the festival at a high level.
Both congratulations emphasize that the holding of the festival is of great importance for the development of friendly relations between the two peoples and states.
"The systematic development of comprehensive partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan is of great importance in strengthening friendly relations between our peoples," Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed.
"I am sure that we will continue to jointly hold such cultural holidays, bringing our two fraternal friendly peoples even closer together," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
It was also noted that this is the second Festival of Friendship of the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples held in Dashoguz region. The first festival was held in 2010.
