Customs training centers of Turkmenistan and Latvia agreed to strengthen cooperation


Teachers of the Training Center at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan have completed a short-term internship in the Latvian city of Riga, organized by the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), the Customs Service of Turkmenistan reports on its official website.
The staff of the Training Center were trained at the Institute of International Economic Relations and Customs of Riga Technical University and the National Customs Administration of the State Revenue Service of Latvia.
The Director of the Training Center at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan held a lecture on customs administration in Turkmenistan for students of Riga Technical University.
The participants of the events during the visit developed recommendations on improving the qualifications of the Customs service of Turkmenistan and agreed to strengthen cooperation between customs training centers.
