The International Chemistry Olympiad for students from 80 universities of the world has started at TSU


Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly has launched an International Student Internet Olympiad in Chemistry, which is attended by over 300 students from 80 universities around the world, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper writes today.
The opening ceremony was held at TSU under the chairmanship of the rector of the Turkmen university Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva and the head of the jury team — Director of the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Durdymyrat Gadamov.
The Olympiad is held in two categories of varying degrees of complexity of tasks prepared by international experts from the jury, including the best experts in chemistry from Turkmenistan and Russia.
The competition, which is attended by students from universities of Russia, the USA, Spain, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia and other countries, will last until November 17. The Turkmen national team included students from 14 Turkmen universities.
