More than 50 books about Japan were donated to the Turkmen University


A solemn ceremony of donating books as part of an international Japanese project was held at the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan reports in a press release.
At the event, Japanese Ambassador to Turkmenistan Yamamoto Hiroyuki presented 53 books and a donation certificate with a list of transferred publications to the Rector of IUHD Esen Aydogdyev.

The ceremony was held within the framework of the READ JAPAN Project, which the Nippon Foundation has been promoting since 2008 in order to tell about Japan and establish friendly relations with partner countries.
The books are written in English and tell about the Land of the Rising Sun. In Turkmenistan, the donation within the framework of the Japanese project was held for the first time.
