The winners of the Digital Solution-2022 technological startup competition were announced in Ashgabat
The XV international exhibition and scientific conference "Turkmentel-2022" completed its work in Ashgabat, on the eve of which the qualifying round of the annual contest of Startup projects "Digital Solution-2022" was held, and its results were summed up during the forum.
And we will present some of its results. In the current competition, about 250 participants presented their projects, including students, high school students and young IT professionals.
The jury, which included specialists from various scientific and educational departments, as well as the «Turkmenaragatnaşyk» agency, presented developments in such categories as healthcare, education, service systems, robotics, transport logistics, agricultural machinery and the electronics industry.
This is the third competition in a row. Pena Sukhanberdiyev, a member of the selection committee, head of the department for the development of the digital economy of the «Turkmenaragatnaşyk» agency, said at the time that the current competition differs from the previous ones, first of all, in that there is an increase in the number of its participants.
If three years ago 104 applications were submitted for participation in the intellectual competition of young IT specialists, this year there were already 242 applications - that is, almost two and a half times more.
And one more thing: if in previous years the main contingent of contestants were students and young professionals, this year they are already competing on equal terms with students of the ninth, tenth and eleventh grades.
In other words, there is a trend of rejuvenation of the startup competition participants. And this is the second difference from the previous competitions of new generation IT masters. The organizers are very pleased that already from the school bench there is a systematic career guidance for teenagers who want to become specialists in the IT field.
Nevertheless, the organizers of the competition for innovative projects hope that the number of startup authors will increase significantly next year.
All this was, as already noted, on the eve of the international forum "Turkmentel-2022". And on Friday, the final results of startup projects were summed up and the winners were awarded.
A total of 42 projects were awarded in seven categories. Of these, 7 first places, 14 second and 21 third places.
The chairman of the agency «Turkmenaragatnaşyk» Khadzhimyrat Khudaiguliyev personally handed diplomas and valuable gifts to all of them.
What objects were the most popular among the authors of start-up projects?
First of all, this is an educational area. Then comes the service system. And closes the top three most popular competitive topics - healthcare. Although, according to the organizers of the intellectual competition, the same pattern was observed in previous years.
In regional terms, Ashgabat residents, residents of Lebap and Mary regions showed the greatest activity during the competition of innovative projects.
The first places in the respective nominations were awarded to: two 4th year students of the Engineering and Technology University named after Oguz Khan Vekil Yazgullyev and Vekilmuhammet Bekmyradov; 1st year student of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics Akyniyaz Yazmyradov; engineer of the State Energy Institute Nurmukhammet Allanazarov; teacher of the National Security Institute Myrat Gurbanov; cadet of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense Akhmet Batyrov and 9th grade student of the Ashgabat special school No. 79 Nurgeldy Annagurdov.
And in conclusion, it is worth to mention that the most active participants in the competition were students of the Engineering and Technology University named after Oguz Khan - there were most of them both among the participants and among those who won prizes.

This year, unlike the previous two, according to the organizers of the competition, the projects were more "viable", among them there are many that have already been successfully implemented - both in the private sector of the economy and in the state.
