Turkmenistan will present its experience in preserving cultural heritage at a seminar in Belarus


Representatives of Turkmenistan will take part in the International scientific and Practical Seminar "Preservation of the intangible cultural heritage of the CIS countries in the context of global challenges", which will be held on November 15-17 in the Republic of Belarus, the official website of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states reports.
At the seminar, Turkmenistan, along with other participating countries, will present the main directions of state policy for the preservation of cultural heritage and unique experience in the identification and inventory of intangible assets, as well as consider the implementation of the Convention on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The meeting, which will be held within the framework of the Plan of events dedicated to the Year of Folk Art and Cultural Heritage, is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Belarus and the institution "Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts". The purpose of the seminar is to deepen intercultural dialogue and strengthen humanitarian ties between the CIS countries.
