International telecom community discusses ways of digital transformation in Ashgabat
The international telecommunications community is represented these days in Ashgabat at the TurkmenTel-2022 exhibition and the conference of the same name for leading experts and regulators in the field of ICT, who gathered to reflect on current issues and problems of the industry, identify ways to solve them and establish new connections.
The TurkmenTel-2022 Forum provides an open demonstration and congress platform for two days, where influential players of the regional and global market can interact directly with officials responsible for the development and management of the information and communication sphere in Turkmenistan.
On the first day of TurkmenTel-2022, presentations of new projects, products and services from Turkmen and foreign companies were held at the industry exhibition, and two sessions were held as part of the expert conference. One of them is on the topic "The development of information and communication technologies is a key factor in the digitalization of the socio-economic sphere of Turkmenistan", and the second is "New satellite technologies and applications".
On Friday, November 11, sessions will be held on the development of communication tools and systems, cybersecurity and digital transformations in the postal sector. Top managers of such companies as "Turkmentelecom" – the national telecom operator, JSC "Altyn Asyr" – the mobile operator of Turkmenistan providing services under the trademark "TM CELL", Eastwind – one of the largest Russian developers and suppliers of software for the telecom market, Nokia are announced as speakers on these topics – Finnish multinational company, manufacturer of telecommunications equipment for mobile, fixed, broadband and IP networks, Chinese Huawei Technologies – one of the world's largest telecommunications companies, Kaspersky Lab, etc.
