The new champions of Turkmenistan in table tennis have been determined
The Turkmenistan Table Tennis Championship, which was held in the Olympic Town of Ashgabat, has ended. 130 sportsmen took part in the competition. Representatives of the capital's national team won gold and silver in all competitions, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper writes today.
In the men's team competitions, the 1st and 2nd places were taken by the Ashgabat national teams, the 3rd place was taken by the national team of the Balkan region. In the women's competitions, the 1st and 2nd places were also taken by the teams of Ashgabat, and the 3rd place was taken by the team from Lebap.
In the singles competitions, the prize-winning places were again won by the masters from Ashgabat. Alibek Jumanov became the strongest tennis player of the country, Ilyas Allanazarov took the second place, Igor Azarov took the third. Ogulgerek Hemrayeva took the first place in women's competitions, Oguljennet Niyazklycheva took the second, Yekaterina Gromitskaya took the third.
The final matches in men's and women's doubles were also held, where the masters of table tennis from the capital won again. All winners are trained under the guidance of coach Rustam Ahmedov. The leaders will have to prepare for other serious competitions — the Turkmenistan Cup among men and women, which is planned to be held at the end of November.
