Turkmen entrepreneurs are invited to the school of business angels for Central Asian countries
Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan are invited to the online business angel school for Central Asian countries, where they will learn how to invest in promising startup projects as co-founders.
Trainings will be held from November 21 to 24 for 2-3 hours a day in Russian. Submitting the application to participate is possible until November 15.
The classes are organized by the MOST business incubator together with the UMAY Club with the support of the USAID Project for the Development of Entrepreneurship and the Business Environment (FGI).
Training events will help entrepreneurs learn how to evaluate the attractiveness and potential profitability of startups at the early stages of existence, conclude deals with young companies and earn money from investments in innovative business projects.
The course will be coached by UMAY angels club experts, as well as invited speakers – business angels with successful experience in investing in startup projects.
Business Angels School will provide participants with:
– unique knowledge, skills, and experience from top officials in the field of startup investment,
– an opportunity to become part of the community of business innovators and startup investors, as well as the startup ecosystem in Turkmenistan and Central Asia,
– access to Investor Pitch Day (presentation of startup projects to investors), where business angels will be able to gain practical experience and start forming their portfolio,
– an opportunity to virtually visit the Central Asian UMAY Business Angels Club, which hosts reviews and presentations of startup projects for investors and active communication (networking),
– an opportunity to participate in the CAVF Battle 2023 event, where representatives/founders of venture funds and business angels from Central Asia, Europe, and the USA will be invited.
