The Turkmenfilm Association was awarded two awards at the International Film Festival in Turkey


The Turkmenfilm association received two awards at the Korkut Ata International Film Festival of the Turkic world, which was held in the Turkish city of Bursa, the representative of the association reported on Instagram.
The audience Award at the festival was awarded to the feature film Istärin ("I would like to"), dedicated to the life and work of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Pyragy. The film was directed by Arslan Eyeberdyev, who revealed the image of the poet-thinker in a new way.

The second award was awarded to the association for its contribution to the culture of the Turkic peoples.
The films Gyzyl kürte ("Red Kurte") and Dutaryň owazy ("Melodies of Dutar") of the Turkmenfilm association were also presented at the film festival.
Along with Turkmenistan, representatives of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation participated in the film festival.
