Days of Korean Culture to be held in Ashgabat
The Days of Korean culture dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea will begin on November 9.
A film festival is planned to be held within three days, where the popular Korean films "Samjin English Courses" and "Bori" will be shown.
Free screening of the films will be held at the Ashgabat Cinema:
November 9 — "Samjin Company English Class" (17:00)
November 10 — "Samjin Company English Class" (15:00); "Bori" (19:00)
November 11 — "Bori" (15:00)
Also, on November 11, at 18:00, a tasting of Korean food will be held at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. In addition, visitors of the event will be able to try on the national Korean hanbok costume. At 19:00 it is planned to hold a concert of Korean fusion music performed by the Gugak Quartet and the National Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan.
