Students of Turkmen universities tried on the image of a philology teacher at a competition in TNIWL

The D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages hosted a competition "Conversation with talented philologists", in which students from a number of local universities tried on the image of a philology teacher.

The competition was aimed at increasing students' interest in the educational process and is designed to help them decide on their future profession. Students were able to join the craft of philology teachers, learn new skills and make interesting acquaintances.

Each rounds of the competition was held in the official UN language chosen by the participants. The competition brought together students not only from specialized language universities, but also from various institutes and universities with different specialties and directions, thereby demonstrating the successful implementation of the Concept of Improving Foreign Language Teaching in Turkmenistan.

The competition consisted of three rounds, in the first of which the students had to introduce the guests to their university with a short video in a foreign language. Then a creative task followed: to continue the phrase "if I were a philologist teacher ..." And at the last round of the competition, students were asked to interest the public with the help of educational and developmental games.
