Berdimuhamedov invited Atambayev to the opening ceremony of the Games "Ashgabat-2017"
The invitation was announced today during a telephone conversation, during which the heads of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed the state of bilateral trade and economic relations. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude to Almazbek Atambayev for the gift for the jubilee - stallion horse Thirasco. According to the Turkmen leader, he sees this as a sign of friendship between the two peoples. The presidents discussed the possibilities of expanding trade turnover and commercial cooperation, paid attention to humanitarian ties and counter tourism exchanges. The first step towards cooperation in the field of tourism was made by the Head of Turkmenistan during his visit to Bishkek in August 2015. In particular, an agreement was signed on the interaction of the leading tourist centers - the Balkan region and the Issyk-Kul region. Then Berdimuhamedov invited Kyrgyz businessmen to participate in the development of the Turkmen sea resort Avaza and suggested construction of a hotel by the Turkmen entrepreneurs on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.
