Rashid Meredov discussed holding the 26th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the ECO countries with the Secretary General of the organization
Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov discussed the issues of holding the 26th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization for Economic Cooperation (ECO) countries with ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri via videoconference, the official website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The meeting is scheduled to be held before the end of this year.
The upcoming negotiations are focused on the implementation of the final document adopted last year at the Summit of ECO Heads of State — the Ashgabat Consensus of Actions. This document is intended to increase interstate partnership in various sectors of the economy and bring cooperation between the parties to a qualitatively new level.
